NESSI represents 1.7 Million strong work force and 490 B€ annual revenues. 

Launched in September 2005, NESSI became Strategic both at the level of the workforce of nearly 2 Million people it represents, and at the level of the area it focuses on, namely the transformation of the existing software model into a service oriented approach. 

NESSI aims to implement its Strategic Research Agenda through an investment of 2.5 B€.
