EchoGrid is organising its third Workshop. The Industry Track is inviting industry experts to participate to a discussion on Grid roadmap and general concerns on Grid related to Industry.
EchoGRID consortium has drafted a 3, 5 and 10 year roadmap on various Grid topics [New Programming Paradigms, GRID Architectures - SoA, GRID Management, Virtual Organisation, Component model, Workflow / Business Process]. The roadmap draft is available and open for comments at echogrid.ercim.org/
TSD WG members are cooperating with ERCIM in order to organise a Seminar on ICT Security addressing the topic of Engineering of Secure Complex Software Systems and Services. This event is provisionally scheduled for October 2008. More information at www.ercim.org
In August 2008, several NESSI TSD WG members will be directly involved in the First International Workshop on Dependability and Security in Complex and Critical Information Systems, DEPEND 2008, to be held on August 25-31, in Cap Esterel, France. Among other topics TSD WG members will present the current trends in coping with dependability in service oriented architectures and infrastructures.
In July 2008, DEBS 2008 conference (http://debs08.dis.uniroma1.it/) will host a panel session on security issues for event-based infrastructures, as seen from the NESSI European Technology Platform representatives.
BeinGRID is organising BeingGRID Industrial Days in June 2008 in Barcelona, Spain. Co-located with OGF23 and OGF-Europe, the Industrial Days will focus on demonstrating the applicability of GRID to various business domains.
