NESSI organised its first  NESSI Projects Summit in Valencia, on 12th and 13th April 2010.

This event was co-located during the same week as the 4th FP7 Conference "The European RTD Framework Programmes: from economic recovery to sustainability", as well as the FIA Conference and the Future Internet PPP.

This event focused on the existing and future results emerging from the coordinated research of NESSI Strategic (NSPs) and Compliant Projects (NCPs), as well as the evolutions of S-Cube, the Network of Excellence dedicated to services.

It also highlighted how NEXOF, the NESSI Open Service Framework, is a unique coherence mechanism providing the way to put industrial solutions and research results in relation to each other and increase their overall impact and uptake.

On Monday 12th April

The full day plenary session was dedicated to the presentations by all NSPs and some specific NCPs using a common format - providing a complete and in depth view of the on-going and upcoming results.

On Tuesday 13th April

Parallel sessions enabled more in-depth and interactive exchanges on the specific results of the NSPs. A National initiatives session was also included.

In parallel, the NESSI exhibition space hosted specific stands for each NSPs and some NCPs. A NESSI stand also provided the complete information on the research organisation, the membership rules and answer any questions you may have about NESSI.
