FP6 project results brochure - Nessi Soft

For better dissemination of the FP6 project achievements, we in unit D3 "Software & Services Architectures and Infrastructures" are planning to publish a brochure with the results of our FP6 Software and Grid projects. This brochure will contain an achievement sheet for each FP6 project currently in our unit.

Collection of data from the IST-RTD projects in the context of the 2007 Monitoring exercise
Dear IST Project Co-ordinator,
Our Directorate-General is committed to systematic monitoring and evaluation of its policies and programmes. This year’s Monitoring exercise comprises an exhaustive and systematic analysis of data in relation to the ‘output’ and ‘impacts’ indicators included in our DG’s Management system. The results of this analysis will help us to assess the progress in 2007 towards the achievement of the IST-RTD implementation objectives.
The collection of this data, through a Questionnaire, is required as part of the evidence gathering process and complements the information collected through the formal reviewing and reporting systems. In addition, it is a formal contractual obligation (See Contract – Annex II – paragraph 10 “Communication of data for evaluation, impact assessment, standardisation purposes and communication of information beyond the research community”). The individual responses will be treated anonymously and in confidence.
I would be grateful if you would complete the enclosed questionnaire on behalf of your project consortium, and email it to following address: infso-ist-evaluation@ec.europa.eu by Thursday 17 January 2008.
The results of the previous Monitoring exercises can be sent you upon request. Additional information about the indicators' system is also available on our DG’s web site at: http://ec.europa.eu/dgs/ information_society/ evaluation/rtd/ indicators/index_en.htm
Yours sincerely,

Peter Johnston
